HSHA Medical Caucus

Formed in January 2020, HSHA’s medical caucus is a group comprised of speech-language and hearing professionals who share the common interest of speech-language pathology and audiology practice in healthcare settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, outpatient clinics, home health, long-term care facilities, or via telehealth.

The Medical Caucus provides a forum for discussion of issues that influence both quality of services and access to services for our community.

We are looking for other members to join the medical caucus, and want your ideas and feedback!

Future goals and endeavors may include (but are not limited to) taking an active role in legislative efforts, fostering mentor/mentee relationships with those interested in entering the field of medical speech-language pathology and audiology, promoting public awareness of services, and supporting research efforts.
