What is HSHA?

Do you know? Test yourself!

The Hawai'i Speech-Language-Hearing Association is a professional, non-profit organization of speech-language pathologists, audiologists, students and associates that is nationally recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

We provide resources and support to its members and those they serve through:

  • Advocacy
  • Professional Development & Continuing Education
  • Networking & mentoring
  • Increasing public education and awareness of our professions

See our NEW Vision and Mission updated by the Board of Directors at our 2022 Strategic Planning Meeting

We are approved by ASHA's Continuing Education Board to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.  ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products or clinical procedures

SB 317 for the ASLP-IC is in legislation.  Visit our legislative/advocacy page for more information on how you can submit testimony and help pass this important legislation!
