To renew your membership:
1. Select your appropriate membership category:
a. Professional Membership- Possesses a master’s degree or equivalent with major emphasis in speech-language pathology, audiology, or speech-hearing science OR holds a master’s degree or equivalent and presents evidence of active research, interest and performance in the field of communication. Clinical Fellows would register as a Professional Member.
b. Associate Membership- Employed in an allied field or working towards a post baccalaureate degree. Students would register as an Associate Member.

2. Mail completed application/registration form and check made out to "HSHA" for membership dues to: P.O. Box 235888, Honolulu, HI 96823-3516.

Special conditions
According to HSHA's by-laws:
Clinical Fellows are considered Professional Members as they "hold (1) a graduate degree with major emphasis in speech-language pathology, audiology, or speech, language, or hearing science, or; (2) a graduate degree and present evidence of active research, interest, and performance in the field of human communication (communication sciences and disorders)."
Students are considered Associate Members as they are "working in the speech and hearing field, in an allied field, or toward a post-baccalaureate degree in the field of speech pathology or audiology"
