Hello everyone! My name is Julie Yatogo. I attended the University of Hawaii and received my Master’s Degree in December of 1983. I graduated, got married, moved to Kauai, and started my first full-time job with the Kauai Easter Seal all in one weekend! My responsibility with Easter Seals was to service the hospitals, homecare services, Head Start Programs and children between the ages of 3-5 years of age. In 1987, I began working for the Department of Education, Kauai District. In June of 2009, I transferred to the Central District and returned to Oahu. My son recently graduated from the University of Hawaii in Electrical Engineering. My oldest daughter will be starting her second year at UH Manoa and my youngest will be a junior in high school. My husband is on Kauai but visits us often. My plan is to return to Kauai after my youngest graduates from high school and goes off to college.

I have been volunteering with HSHA for most of my professional career. I have been serving as Treasurer since 2000 and have also served as Neighbor Island Representative for many years prior. I cherish the opportunity to meet and work along side other professionals in our field and have made many good friends.
