LEARNING OUTCOMES: As a result of this activity, the participant will be able to:

 

1) Identify and compare the relationship between Gross Motor Development and Oral Motor/Feeding Development.

 

2) Delineate different areas of responsibility and scope for SLP's and OT's.

 

3) List the three primary areas of concern in Pediatric Feeding Disorders.

 

4) Discuss the importance of addressing sensory and motor components of the disorder before resorting to a strictly behavioral program.

 

5) Plan appropriate treatment approaches based on one or all three components of Feeding Disorder.
